Double European champion Jakob Ingebrigtsen to compete in Zurich
Jakob Ingebrigtsen (NOR) played a leading role at the recent European athletics championships in Berlin. Aged 17, he took gold both in the men‘s 1500m and in the 5000m. Next Thursday, he will be part of the all-star cast of Weltklasse Zürich. Following an injury-related cancellation, the young Norwegian star will be competing in the 1500m final. He will face world champion Elijah Manangoi, last year's Diamond champion Timothy Cheruiyot and his older brother Filip Ingebrigtsen.

Exciting relay race expected
At the end of the competitions, the Zurich Trophy will be awarded to the winning women's relay team. The Swiss women with 100m record holder Mujinga Kambundji are looking for revenge as fourth placed at the European Championships.
