At the Bislett Games in Oslo, 400 m hurdler Karsten Warholm caused a sensation. The Norwegian ran the stadium lap, which was peppered with ten obstacles, in 46.70 seconds faster than any other person ever before and thus broke Kevin Young's 29-year-old world record.
Karsten Warholm is not only one of the big names in world athletics this year. He is also the face on posters pointing out the season highlight to the residents of Zurich.
