The new Co-Meeting Directors, who both have been part of the Weltklasse Zürich team for many years, are determined to continue the successful work of their predecessor. “Patrick managed to keep the balance between innovation and tradition,“ says Andreas Hediger. And Christoph Joho adds, “We will not turn everything upside down. But we intend to keep developing the meeting further, so that we can maintain our leading role“.
A seasoned team with two new members
The new Weltklasse Zürich organising committee includes twelve members. The team has started planning the focus and goals for the meeting editions to come right away.
Joho and Hediger can count on their seasoned team of experts: Ten members of the new organising committee had already been working under the management of Patrick K. Magyar.
The new team members are Regula Schäpper, who will be responsible for all ticketing-related matters, and Benedikt Röcker, who had already been working on the meeting’s marketing team. After the resignation of Janine Geigele as Head of Media Relations, Roland Hirsbrunner will be responsible for both public and media relations.
In addition to Janine Geigele and Patrick K. Magyar, Aurelia Denzler and Linda Kabwita resigned from the organising committee. Aurelia Denzler had been working for Weltklasse Zürich’s ticketing office for the past 15 years, and Linda Kabwita had managed the meeting’s head offices. The two were officially bid farewell on the occasion of the volunteers’ reception prior to this year’s “Super10Kampf”.
