Road race world record holder Julien Wanders presents himself in the Letzigrund at 5000m.
Vice European Champion Fabienne Schlumpf competes at 3000m Steeple.
European U23 Champion Géraldine Ruckstuhl is in the javelin competition.
European U20 Champion Delia Sclabas will face the world's elite at 1500m.
European U20 Champion Simon Wieland will be able to make his first experiences with the world elite of the javelin throw.

Women's relay also represented
Not to be missed are the fastest Swiss women in the 4x100m relay race. The fourth of the European Championships will meet top-class competitors. Driven by the unique atmosphere, they attack their own Swiss record.
In addition, there are numerous Swiss stars who compete in Non-IAAF Diamond League-disciplines. These include the two-time European Indoor Champion Selina Büchel in the 800m race and the U23 European Champion at 110m hurdles Jason Joseph.
Reward for exceptional performance
Weltklasse is world class. The best athletes in the world compete in the final disciplines of the IAAF Diamond League. The respective winners can call themselves Diamond League Champions and take home the coveted Diamond Trophy. The stars of athletics have to qualify for a starting place during the season. Selected local heroes will start with a wildcard. Weltklasse Zürich can issue a wild card for Swiss athletes who have attracted attention with exceptional performances during the season and can compete with the best in their discipline.
