World champion Barber to challenge world record holder Lavillenie
The final competition of this year's Diamond Race in the men's pole vault will feature an exciting face-off between Olympic champion and world record holder Renaud Lavillenie (FRA) and world champion Shawn Barber. Last year, it was the 22-two-year old Canadian who claimed the victory at Weltklasse Zürich at Zurich Main Station. Barber started this year off by becoming the youngest 6m jumper of all times. Lavillenie, who is getting ready to win the Diamond Race for the seventh consecutive time this year, may want to add his own chapter to this fantastic event's history. Sam Kendricks (USA), current world leader with 5.92m, has also already signed up for the prestigious competition at Letzigrund Stadium.
Nicole Büchler and Angelica Moser vs. the world's pole vault elite

Both she and Switzerland’s U20 European champion Angelica Moser will be enjoying the unique atmosphere in the city centre. Their opponents will include world leader Ekaterini Stefanidi (GRE), and former world champion Fabiana Murer (BRA).
