After a most successful Big Shot Event premiere in 2010, the shot put events will again be held at Zürich Main Station on the eve of the meeting (7 September 2011).

Samsung Diamond League Final Events Men: 100 m, 400 m, 1500 m, 3000 m SC, 110 m hurdles, high jump, long jump, discus throw
Women: 200 m, 800 m, 5000 m, 400 m hurdles, pole vault, long jump, shot put*, javelin throw.
Additional Events International Programme of Events: 4x100 m men, shot put men, 100 m hurdles women.
* Both the men’s and the women’s shot put will be staged at the Big Shot Event at Zurich Main Station on Wednesday, 7 September 2011. The men’s event is part of the 2011 Diamond Race; the women’s event represents the Samsung Diamond League season’s final.
