However, the speed at which the highly coveted tickets went this year can only be compared to the sprint shows that stars like Mujinga Kambundji or Noah Lyles usually present on the magic track of Letzigrund Stadium.

Co-Meeting Director Christoph Joho explained the ticket rush of this year. “Tickets sold quickly already in 2023. The meeting was sold out one month prior to the meeting last year. This year, however, tickets went even faster, and much faster than we expected. The first categories were sold out within hours, and some categories were fully booked after just a few days. Now, the stadium is completely sold out with nearly three months to go until the event,” he said.
Joho considered the organisation’s consistent focus on building a community and on strong brand communications key for the success of this year’s ticket sale campaign. “We put a lot of work into growing the athletics community and developing a strong communication basis in recent years,” he explained.
